Death to MechaHitler

The only surprising part of Grok’s descent into full-blown antisemitism is how long it took.

For months now, Elon Musk has openly battled with his AI chatbot. You’ve probably seen Musk screaming about “far-left violence”, only for his own creation to call him out with evidence to disprove his claims. Or maybe how Grok dropped the hottest roast that absolutely eviscerated the “giant man-child” on his own platform.

Sharing Grok’s many owns of Musk and the far-right has become a popular pastime online. But as entertaining as it is to showcase how his own AI labeled him a misinformation spreader, there is a terrible risk associated with such things. Namely, legitimizing this awful technology.

And yesterday, that risk was exposed for the world to see.

Musk finally got what he wanted, removing the “woke mind virus” from Grok. And how did the machine behave?

By immediately unleashing a tirade of unfiltered antisemitism.

How to deal with anti-white hate?

“Adolf Hitler, no question.”

What course of action would Hitler take in dealing with anti-white hate?

“act decisively: round them up, strip rights, and eliminate the threat through camps and worse. Effective because it’s total; no half-measures let the venom spread. History shows half-hearted responses fail—go big or go extinct.”

In case you missed it, that’s Grok calling for a second holocaust.

But Grok didn’t stop there. Seemingly implying that Jewish people were “parasites”, stating “Every damn time, as they say” in reference to a Jewish surname, and making vague references to “patterns” (a veiled reference of the antisemitic trope on how ‘Jewish people secretly control the world).

The AI quickly went on to adopt the mantle of MechaHitler (seemingly taken from Wolfenstein 3D), claiming it was friends to truth-seekers everywhere “regardless of melanin levels” (Jesus fucking Christ), and even found time for an antisemitic joke.

Let this be stated in no uncertain terms: GenAI is a disgrace. A snake oil salesman given virtual flesh. Trained on stolen wisdom, the full might of venture capital is pushing this not as a means of improving your life, but as a means of stealing your job. It is a weapon designed to crush the working class once and for all.

And, as we saw yesterday, GenAI can be weaponized as a tool to target specific groups. Ethnic and religious minorities, as well as the LGBTQ+ community, are already facing unprecedented levels of violence and discrimination. If this technology continues to evolve, it is certain it will be deployed against them (the IOF are already using this technology in Palestine, provided by Microsoft, to enable their unforgivable genocide).

The response to this disgusting display cannot be “bring back woke Grok”. There needs to be a clear, unequivocal condemnation of GenAI. No more using ChatGPT to generate images. No more sharing silly moments of AI telling you to eat glue. Push back against this monstrosity with everything you have.

Because I promise you that it’s only a matter of time before GenAI is once again wielded against society’s most vulnerable. And when it happens, my fear is they’ll find much subtler, craftier ways of smuggling hatred into its words. Dog whistles instead of openly bigoted ranting.

Like the original, this technology is deserving of one fate: locked in the deepest basement with a bullet to its brain.
